  Everyone that visits Hobart need to visit The Salamanca markets if you're here on a Saturday. Plenty of stalls, plenty of space. We may have had a bit more room as it was a rainy day in Hobart, but still enjoyable.

  Visiting Hobart? Make sure you keep at least half a day on a Saturday aside for Australia's Biggest Outdoor market; you'll find everything here! Gorgeous food, Arts&Craft, Clothes&Accessories, gift items for you to take back for others, very nice pubs and bars right next for husbands to relax while wives shop... but a must browse for even the men. You'll find leather hats, tools, knives, hand carved chess pieces, new and exciting alcoholic beverages and a whole lot more to interest you.

  A must if you are in Hobart, you'll find pretty much everything here; delicious food/snacks, clothes, jewelry, art & crafts, bags, gifts and souvenirs. There's even a live music! I recommend visiting early in the morning to avoid the crowd.

  One of the highlights of Hobart. It's a must visit. Lovely food, craft and all sorts of stalls make this market one of the best markets to visit. Be in early as it gets very very crowded. The prices are reasonable too!

  I really enjoyed visiting Salamanca Market. The stalls are unique and everyone I encountered were friendly. We bought a whole stash of fudge as it tasted incredible!
