Where to start. the bathroom is absolutely Grosse. Filthy toilets tiles are all broken, nothing was clean. hair and rubbish all over the floor.stinks bad when you walk past the bathroom area. .the bedroom had a rusty half broken heater a ancient rusty old filing cabinet for a wardrobe.the bed was comfortable. but filthy linen stained looked unwashed.it probably was unwashed.the doona was gross as well. towels were so disgusting I'm glad I took my own. Lucky it was summer at the time cause we didn't need to use the doona.I just lay there stiff in my dressing gown I wasn't using the doona.the whole place is a fire hazard its old dangerous.if fire broke out you wouldn't get out alive as there are many rooms that are 3 or more levels and no lifts and its so old and one spark its gone.the curtain had blood stains on it and other filthy marks. the smell was absolutely disgusting and thats just walking to your room.never again I would go back there.it should be condemned.

Very close to the city and budget room with basic amenities but still far away of perfect backpackers

room and bathroom are not too bad, clean. the rest room have a lot of sofas which are good. but the kitchen is a bit dirty and lacks of cutleries. reception is at second floor and there's just stairs in the building.

Common areas are huge and the numerous couches and private corners are perfect to connect with others and to organize your own things in private. .... That doesn't mean you don't have Wi-Fi in your room. You have great Wi-Fi! Everywhere. Which is limited to the common areas in most of the backpackers in Australia.

Amazing place. I've been traveling for 18 months now and there are 3 things that are unbeatable: the mattresses, the common areas and the Wi-Fi.

Receptionist very friendly and helpful. The place is falling apart though. No lift, if you have heavy luggage good luck. Outside the rooms there's no heating so bathroom is polar temperature! It was 2 degrees outside so impossible to shower. Also the bathroom - as you can see from the photos - is close to be illegal. One toilet/one shower per level, always busy. This place would need a huge makeover to justify the price. For 75$ I would never come back!
