I was given these guys number as an alternative to the usual suspects and they priced a saloon car at the same rate as the compact cars by the big players. They say their cars are a little older but still in good nick. They meet you at the airport which is good too. I was given an early 90s Mitsubishi bland or some such. Fine, its a car, it will do for 10 days touring Tassie. Firstly it had over 300,000ks on the clock so the old girl was pretty tired. There was no feedback from the throttle or steering and when you did get a response it was sudden and unexpected. List of issues on the car include: remote central locking not working, key locking on drivers door not working, one of the rear seat belts wouldn't to fasten, 12v cigarette plug broken so no charging off that, one headlight out (worked on high beam though), interior light broken, boot release broken, cruise control broken, wiper blades dried out, cracked and useless and the next service sticker on the window was 25,000ks overdue. Still, it started every morning and didn't break down. Crap car though, we'd had enough of the POS by the end and can't say it was worth the money. Cut Price Rentals should be called Rent a Bomb.
