Sub standard inspections, when they 'were' done, and my property put at risk. I Would never recommend this company to anyone, as I would hate anyone else to go through the distress of seeing their property neglected, and the waste of money spent on so called 'Property management'. They dropped the ball BIG time, and refused any responsibility ….

EIS were entrusted with the responsibility of looking after my rental property. A big fail on all counts. (evidence of photo's and emails to back my statements).

I have two properties managed by EIS and could not be happier by how my properties are maintained and looked after by the team. I am always informed if things need doing and are promptly attended to by the team, making sure my tenants are kept happy.. Thanks guys!!

When I complained to the Board about EIS's conduct, EIS had the audacity to question my state of mind!!! AND they put it in writing! Unprofessional and rude, to say the least…Don't make the mistake of letting them any where near your rental property!!!

Oh, EIS changed into the hands of new owner in 2013, which is FOUR years ago, not FIVE or TEN, as stated in two of EIS's positive 'five star' review's that all sprung up one after the other in under a week!!!…… Ironic timing to say the least, considering that they accused 'me' of getting 'my friends' to write negative reviews. The public are not fools, and we are more than capable of seeing the obvious…..

They also threatened to 'sue' me for writing a review about my experience!! Does that mean that all the other people that wrote a negative review about their experience with EIS will be sued too? That will be an awful lot of people!

I am so glad we have now purchased a property and will never have to deal with EIS or property managers again. The standards they set themselves to provide tenants are non-existent when compared with what they expect from renters. I will not be recommending EIS or the property manager to anyone I know, do not knock on my door or post letters enquiring if I’d like to have my home evaluated or am interested in selling, I wouldn’t even trust you to sell my old used toaster.

Obviously this has been the experience of other owners, as well as incredibly angry and mistreated tenants!

I've sold 2 properties with EIS now and both times their strategy has extracted the best possible price from the prevailing market. The first time I sold the market was dead and Dave got me 15k more than I was expecting. The second time we sold was just a few weeks ago and we got 35k over the top of our band! Dave is extremely good at understanding his constraints and developing the best possible strategy for a property. David Gunning is an extremely good agent.

At the end of the day, its the public that will decide the fate of EIS. Don't be threatened by them if they try to bully you into removing your review, you have the 'right' to expose your experience and warn others…..Its still freedom of speech in this country.

If you scroll through the reviews EIS currently have you will see they already don't have a good reputation as the majority of the reviews are negative. I have also had bad experiences with the company. They are unorganised, they lie, don't follow things up, stuff up simple requests and most of all every staff member I have spoken to is rude. I don't know if they are just unhappy to work there but they are so sour. I have experience in the property management industry and would never treat people the way they do. Basically, there services are a waste of money to owners and they don't get anything done. Owners aren't aware of what they are telling tenants and how their tenants are treated. Don't rent or let your property through this company.

These review is meant to focus on EIS 'Property Management', not SALES!!! Big difference….

Please, if you experience this type of neglect from 'any' Property management firm, please report it to an independent Property Management Board, or better still, Consumer Affairs. That way at least it will be looked at by a body 'outside' the industry. These people need to be held accountable, and the industry needs to ensure they meet the obligations that they have agreed to, and been entrusted with. I would have had at least 'some' respect for them, if they had been honest, and just admitted that they had dropped the ball. I was only given excuses, and told they weren't the tenants parents!!! I also note that the 5 star ratings given to EIS, are from the husband of the property manager that 'managed' my property, and the other, a face book friend of EIS manager .....unethical to say the least….And according to the review I just read from a tenant, not much chop for them either. MOULD and RUDE seem to be commonly used words when it comes to EIS…..

We rented an apartment managed by EIS up until recently for 2 years. Upon leasing the apartment the place was left filthy with dirty cupboards, floors and windows. The previous tenants rubbish and items (used razor blade, plastic bags and catalogues circa 2011) were left in the apartment. Very soon after moving in we found that the toilet was broken and unusable which was extremely frustrating. We completed our condition report noting the filthy condition of the place as well as the rubbish left for us. Absolutely nothing was done after handing the report back to EIS so we were left to spend a few hours cleaning up the place after tirelessly moving our furniture and possessions in. During our 2 year lease the property manager on 2 occasions failed to notify us of inspections and entered our apartment without us knowing, which is completely unacceptable and wrong. We were just told us “Oh I drafted up the letter but must have forgot to send it, woops”. No negative feedback was ever provided from the inspections completed, with the manager often commenting how well the property was looked after. Soon before our lease finished we spent 2 full days cleaning the apartment until it was left in immaculate condition, with the carpets professionally steam cleaned. After the property manager inspected the apartment it was noted that there was some dust/dirt on the front step and shared access stairwells (of course there is because others use them and there are winds which carry dirt and dust), some dust on a bathroom heat light and remanent grease spot on the bare concrete porch. It was also questioned why there were still slight furniture marks in the carpet after steam cleaning which we had to explain that furniture is heavy and if it sits for 2 years will leave an indentation? We were demanded to return to the property after our lease had expired to clean this before we could hand back our keys. We argued that the apartment is absolutely immaculate and this was ridiculous, and to look at the condition report when we moved in. Which we were answered with “I’ve read the condition report and understand that the apartment was filthy but I wasn’t managing it then so it’s not our fault”. Well I’m sorry but you work and represent EIS so it is completely your fault. I question why was the unit left in such condition when we moved in, if they withheld the bond from the previous tenant to clean, it was most certainly not used to pay cleaning services. If the bond however was returned in full to the previous tenant despite the unit being left a mess why would we now be requested to return to dust one light and the sweep a front porch!

Let me also state, that I have absolutely 'nothing' to do with any other negative reviews regarding EIS, nor, would I attempt to coerce people to write a dishonest or made up review.. People write reviews about their own experiences, whether they are good or bad. This should be taken as 'constructive' criticism, and looked at, not fobbed off because they don't like what they read.

We need to be able to depend on an organisation to keep this industry honest. I dare say that this will continue until there are so many more complaints, that some one will finally have to do something about it…..
