  We are an older couple travelling around Tasmania and for many months have been having issues sending emails from our laptop. We were referred to Principal Computers by Optus Hobart this afternoon because Optus were unable to help us with our issue.

  When we located Principal Computers in Brisbane Road we were very promptly attended to by an extremely helpful young man named Caius Sharman. Even after we explained that we were "technologically hopeless" he was still very willing to help. Caius was pleasant, polite, extremely helpful and even answered an unrelated question we had about our tablet.

  Caius went above and beyond when our newly bought cooling system was not behaving. Stayed behind after hours and helped us solve the issues ... when he could have just said they were shut.

  I've spend hundreds on peripherals and storage at this place and they wouldn't exchange a defective $50 wireless card for another one because it was a month before I could bring it in again. Apparently it's normal that a state of the art PC gets 2mb/s down when a phone or laptop held next to it gets 80mb/s. Offering to buy a premium keyboard on the spot if they did the exchange didn't even convince them. I had the box and all parts in perfect condition. Bizarre.

  Never, ever go into Harvey Norman for a PC. Principle Computers are right next door. They are cheaper, more knowledgeable and superior service. I have worked for three different Apple Centre's, so I like to think I know a little about customer service. Trust me, these guys are dead set legends. ;)
